The treatment in Insulated sleep (medically: analgesia) can overcome this hurdle. They are deeply relaxed, breathe independently and usually experience little discomfort from the treatment – completely without the burden of a general anaesthetic.

Planning
At the initial consultation, we discuss your desire for sedation and plan the appointment together with the anesthesiologist.

Preliminary meeting
The specialist in anesthesia will assess your medical condition and medications and give you detailed instructions on preparation.

Treatment
They lie dormant in relaxed state while the anesthesiologist continuously monitors you and we perform the treatment.

Rest and recovery
After waking up, you can rest with us. Your companion will pick you up – driving is not allowed on this day.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about sedation in the dentist's office

During general anesthesia, consciousness is completely suppressed and breathing must be supported artificially. In the sedation state (analgosedation), you breathe on your own, are deeply relaxed and sleepy, and usually experience little discomfort during the treatment. For the vast majority of dental procedures, the sedation combined with local anesthesia is sufficient.
The sedation is administered by a specialist in anesthesia who comes to our clinic for your treatment appointment. He/she will discuss your medical condition and medications in advance and supervise you throughout the entire treatment.
In addition to sedation, the treatment area is numbed locally. Most patients report that they hardly remember the treatment or not at all.
Before the sedation, you must be sober as instructed by the anesthesiologist. After the treatment, you are not allowed to drive a car on the same day – please plan for an accompanying person to pick you up. You will receive all the details when scheduling your appointment.
Yes. Since the anesthesiologist comes to the clinic specifically for your appointment, the desire for sedation should be indicated during planning – preferably already when requesting an appointment in the „Message“ field.
The costs for sedation depend on the duration of the treatment and are separately indicated in your written treatment and cost plan – in advance and without hidden charges.
