Veneer/ceramic veneer
Veneers can give the visible surfaces of your teeth a perfect, flawless appearance. Veneers can be used to correct discoloration and tooth misalignment or to achieve a completely new tooth color, even on healthy teeth.
As a rule, old plastic fillings or corner build-ups are removed. Veneers are recommended for accident-damaged teeth, broken and discolored teeth in the anterior region.
These absolutely natural-looking veneers are custom-made for you in our Denis & Focus dental laboratory in 5 working days. The enamel is only removed by 0.3 to 0.7 mm and the incisal edge is shortened by approx. 1 mm if necessary.
Advantages of the veneer technique:
- the extremely low loss of natural tooth substance
- and outstanding, long-lasting aesthetics.
Veneers are wafer-thin, translucent ceramic shells for the teeth, which are attached to the tooth surface - especially the front teeth - using a special adhesive. The adhesive shell is made of ceramic (porcelain). In general, the use of ceramic veneers does not pose a health risk, as the ceramic material is highly biocompatible. Veneers can be used to correct slightly misaligned teeth, gaps between teeth, unsatisfactory tooth colors and local discolorations.
