Case: 8 zirconium crowns in the upper jaw
Ute Elena's teeth showed brown discoloration and caries was diagnosed. Her old metal-ceramic bridge no longer closed well. When she visited our clinic, the esthetic appearance was not satisfactory. In her case, zirconium crowns were the best solution, which she received in five working days at our clinic. Since then she has been able to smile with all her heart and regain her self-confidence.

Case: 14 zirconium crowns in the upper jaw

Case: General restoration of both jaws
The patient presented with esthetic complaints in the area of the upper front teeth, particularly due to discoloration and uneven tooth shapes. After digital planning and gentle preparation, temporary crowns were placed to ensure a stable and esthetic transitional solution. The final restoration was made with high-quality zirconia crowns, which are characterized by their natural aesthetics and high stability. Modern CAD/CAM technology was used to achieve a precise fit and a harmonious overall appearance. The result is a natural-looking, even smile with which the patient is very satisfied.

Case: Zirconium bridge
The patient had teeth 11 and 12 removed due to inflammation 6-8 weeks before the treatment at our clinic. The bone and gums have receded at the site of the extracted teeth. The lady was given a clip as a temporary solution. Caries was visible on tooth 13. On the crowned teeth 21 and 22, the gum line had receded and the old metal-ceramic crowns no longer closed properly at the edge. Due to the metal framework of the crowns, the gum line has become darkly discolored. In order to preserve beautiful gum contours, we used the shoulder preparation technique when grinding the teeth after removing the old crowns. After the preparation of the teeth, the patient received temporary crowns to protect the teeth from cold and heat and to provide the patient with an esthetic solution until the final prosthesis was placed. The esthetic appearance of the dentures is particularly important in the front region, which is why the patient opted for zirconium crowns. This also prevents discoloration of the gum line. We supplemented the receding gums on teeth 11,12 with homologous / same-colored ceramic gums. This small blemish is now not even visible when you laugh. The treatment took us 3 sessions and one week.

Case: Zirconium bridge
Old metal-ceramic bridge from 12 to 23 with insufficient marginal fit of the crowns. Due to the tangential preparation, the gums have receded and the tooth necks have become exposed (visible), so the esthetics of the old bridge are no longer adequate. Treatment: Removal of the old bridge, shoulder preparation to protect the tooth bed. Fabrication of a new zirconium bridge.

Case: Upper and lower metal-ceramic round bridges
Deep bite, reflux disease According to the patient, she often bites her lower lip when speaking and eating. Due to the deep bite, the outer surface of the lower teeth and the inner surface of the upper teeth have been worn down to a great extent, which condition (the enamel) has been attacked even more by the refluxing gastric juice due to the reflux disease. In the upper anterior region, old crowns can be seen on teeth 21-22, whose marginal fit and esthetics are no longer adequate (to be assumed/accepted). In the lower anterior region, tooth 32 is outside the row of teeth and protrudes from the occlusal surface. Treatment: Shoulder preparation of the upper and lower teeth to protect the periodontium and the beautiful gum contour. Root canal treatment of tooth 32 and shortening of the crown. Fabrication of upper and lower metal-ceramic round bridges, bite elevation by 2 mm, ceramic (zirconium) crowns in the front area for more beautiful esthetics.
